USB hubs configuration.

Hi, i have a question in mind.Are 4 port USB hubs using a current divider circuit to control the input current to the connected devices? Then it can be said that all the ports are connected in parallel as voltage is same( around 5VDC) but current is different ?

Please correct me if i am wrong.
