I was looking for questions related to RLC circuits typically asked to people interviewing for analog design positions and came across the following question:
Suppose at t=0, the switch flips from A to B, find the voltage waveform at B. Now I know that in most of these questions you are looking at concept of conservation of charge. So before t = 0 the C1 was charged to Vin and Qinitial = C1 * Vin. When the switch flips to B, Qfinal = (C1 + C2) Vfinal. Since the total charge remains same Vfinal =(C1/(C1+C2)) Vin ? Is this right. Essentially, the voltage at B rises to this Value?
