i have the following doubts.. can any one help me

IN MAGMA

1. in library preparation ... error occrus weh doing run prepare routability $l
Error: the model $l/AND2/mpin:a has value 4.22 should be integeral multiples of 2.55
set off pitch value
how to change the off pitch placement grid values.
2. by report power i can get the values of power dissisation for my module.
how can i set the strip and ring width from the power values.
can any one send some pdfs regarding power..
3. how to insert io pads in my module assume i have io library.
4. how to import macros in my module. and do placement and routing (heir) floorplanning.

IN CADENCE SOC ENCOUTER

1. how to calculate the max.fanout of a cell my library pdfs says only about input pin capacitance.
i need max. fanout when i need to calculate clock latency.

Hi Shankar,

Regarding the library preparation error during run prepare routability $l Your M1 pins

are not falling on the not falling on the grid. You need to specify the correct offset so

that the pins are falling on the grid. Generally The offset value will be in multiples of

the pitch.
