It is a design of controller, which can be used with any devices.

Basic features:
  • Atmega32
  • IR remote control (according to RC5 standard)
  • handling for 8 sensors DS18B20 (normal or parasite mode)
  • 7 on/off channels (relay)
  • 1 PWM channel
  • PCF 8583 (with full date)
  • 3 control buttons
  • auto channel (on/off bistable or monostable mode)
  • state input
  • 2 analog inputs (based on PH sensor, light sensor or thermometer PT100)
  • RS232 communication (MAX232)

In the standard version the device is equipped with 6 channels control using IR remote control (buttons 1 to 6). 7 channel is assigned to the timer (you should enter the time of turn on and off). Additionally, you can make it depend on the logic signal and set mono or bistable operation mode. The system checks whether the device is on – if not, it sends „turn on” signal, if it is on, the system does not do anything. The same when the system checks if the device is off.

Status of thermometers is refreshed every 20 seconds. Simultaneously state and serial number of a thermometer is sent via RS232.

Signal from IR remote control is sent to a computer via RS232 after each receiving, so that the computer can be also controlled by remote control.

The device itself can be also controlled using the RS232. Menu can be handled using three buttons. Settings are stored in the EEPROM of the processor. PWM output is used for lighting control. Button „0” on the remote control causes turning off the lights and pressed again returns the previous setting. Button „mute” on the remote control or arrow up on the device cause refreshing temperatures (if necessary).
