Hi all,

I am a DSP engineer with little previous exposure to the back end of ASIC design. There is a dizzying amount of acronyms used in this field.

Is there a good list of acronyms for back end ASIC design?

Thanks!

I don't know if someone has created such a list.

I (most engineers) learn those acronym while "on the job". If you read the proper docu related to your work, I think you'll get to know all of them in due time.

Thanks dpaul. Yes, on the job seems to be the route that I am on. FWIW I was in the US Marines before attending university- an organization known for volumes of cryptic acronyms. The ASIC design community has the military beat on the prolific use of acronyms.
