how to use protel

hi,
I am quite confused.. in protel dxp 2004 schematic i placed several hex inverter SN74F04D or op- amp TL084.. but the pin is still indicating that I am placing the same component.. how can I changed the pin so that it would continue to the 2nd hex , 3rd and so on for the hex inverter or op amp. and the other thing when I autoroute my pcb it would not autoroute itself and will show an error.. why is this.. i've already check for any mistake but there is non.. thanx

hit TAB, while placing the component.

currently when placing you will have U*A(before placing the compoentn on the sheet hit tab, but make sure the component is selected), this should turn into U1A,U1B, etc
as the A->B occurs the pins will also change
