couldn't execute "xilperl": no such file or directory

Hi,

I just tried to sythesize the OpenSPARC core with EDK, however, after loading the system.mhs file and running

bitstream generation EDK outputs me the following error:

ERROR:MDT - C_MEM_CAS_LATENCY0 (mpmc) - couldn't execute "xilperl": no such file
or directory
while executing
"exec xilperl $perlPath -mpmc3
-family [xget_hw_parameter_value $mh..."
(procedure "init_control" line 40)
invoked from within

Interestingly, google does not have any hits when looking for this particular error, anyone here an idea what went wrong? I am running Xilinx EDK 10.1.03 on Linux.
