ZYBO development board with USB drive

Hi,

The ZYBO Z7 020 development board has a USB connector at witch we can attach a USB drive for data storage. Do we need to configure the ZYNQ as host or device ? I guess the USB OTG can be configured both as host and also as device. If the ZYNQ has to write data to the USB drive then the ZYNQ configuration has to be as a host, right ?
