[SOLVED] Wireless + PIC I/O.... ???

Okay so I have this transmitter and receiver (RF) , they both have this data line...1 pin only, each one connected to a PIC..say PIC16F84A or PIC16F877A, how do you transmit data to one another? Say like sending a hex value or something like that.... or you can't ? You must send 1 or 0 only? Need advice.
