Voltage to frequency convertor

am looking for help in designing a circuit for voltage to frequency conversion .
am expecting to convert the varying voltage signal to a square wave with 12V peak to peak

What voltage range, rate of change and what frequency range?
Without telling us we don't know if you are talking about microvolts to pulses per century or kilovolts to Ghz.
