Hi,

does anyone have any idea on how to remove glitches from a (gate-level) VCD file?

Ideally it would be something allowing to remove pulses below a certain time duration:

> remove_glitch input.vcd 0.5 ns

In case EDA simulators can't do this, would anybody happen to have a script doing that, that he can share :)

Regards,
George

Hi,

Something related to using the VCD for power analysis. I guess I ll script it myself, it should be faster than spending time looking :)

Regards

why do you want to removed glitch in the VCD?

Well the power consumes by the glitch is reported in PrimeTime power for example, and this power is real, so why illiminating them?
