Hello,

Could someone shed some light on this for me?

I was under the impression that devices from the analogLib library did not have to have models. I just built a simple circuit with a pmos and nmos from the analogLib lib and it fails to simulate in spectre. Problem? Spectre says that the .scs files are missing for them. Aren't devices form analogLib supposed to have generic models that don't even need to be specified?

Please help.

No.

They are so generic, that you have to tell what model
you intend the symbol to represent. Then you have to
tell it where to find the model, too.

It's easy enough to convert PSpice models for Spectre
to use.
