sheet of schematic in us_8ths is too ugly

Hi Guys,

Do you know the way to build a sheet in virtuoso, the default sheets in lib US_8ths are too ugly to use? :-x

Simplest is to create a symbol (with no schematic) - Why not copy the us_8ths and then strip it?

Then add what ever features/logos you like. For this symbol you can also add all those nice text labels that you want.

To add your own logo it is sometimes easier to first draw the logo with the layout editor and then copy it into the symbol editor.

Somewhere in the cadence forum there is a tip on how to setup the schematic-create-new-cell trigger to pick up your new sheet symbol. Didn't find it right now.
 

You can just place the "Title" block, which is much more
compact, if you don't have a use for borders & coordinate
references.
