Hi All,

I was going through magma, while analyzing a library found that
some of the cells in the library have a pre defined hidden property.
If these cells are not meant to be used, then why are they present in
the library?

Thanks in Advance

the cells that got hidden doesnot have the properties to be supercell,

they may be present in the library, but doesnot have the properties of being a supercell such as constant gain, linearily increasing load & capacitance etc,

so they are hidden during library preparation, some time the foundry people mention some cells are not usable, but they are present in the library, u need to hide those cells manually,

hi guy!!
I want to ask you a question: volcano library used by m@gma is how to obtain??? thanks for your help!!!

Hi alll
i also have a qn relted to libraries
what are SPM libraries.
kindly point me to a link / doc describing library models etc
regards

some cells are not used during optimization .
for ex: clk buffer are only used for clock tree synthesis.
pad cell are used only for bonding.
