vlog-1902

Hello all ...

I am using Altera's FFT V 7.2 (FFT Megacore Function) in my project 'PHY Layer Designing of 802.11a Transmitter'.

While trying to simulte the FFT Core in modelsim 5.7g (Through TCL Script) using the same approach as mentioned in the guide of 'FFT MegaCore', the following error comes,

{
# Model Technology ModelSim SE vlog 5.7g Compiler 2003.10 Oct 10 2003
# ** Error: (vlog-1902) Unrecognized option or option requires an argument: -vlog01compat.
# Use the -help option for complete vlog usage.
# ERROR: C:/Modeltech_5.7g/win32/vlog failed.
# Error in macro ./model_run_msim_rtl_verilog.do line 8
}

Is the error due to incompatibility of the older version 5.7g of Modelsim ? because there is no error errupting in the Quartus II environment but in Modelsim 5.7g ...

I will appreciate if someone help me out of that ...

Thanking u all in anticipation

Regards
Syed Shaheer Javaid
