orcad sch

Open your schematic design.
First select Schematics in the project window, then choose Tools from the menu bar and click on Annotate (the first time, you choose unconditional reference update, when you change something to your design, select incremental reference update) , then, select Create Netlist from the Tools menu. Select the LayOut tab, a netlist is generated when you click OK.

Then, open OrCAD LayOut Plus, choose File New and then select the default.tch file from the Orcad folder on your C-drive, then load your netlist and assign the remaining footprints, then you are ready to draw a board outline, place the components and start routing
