i'm using toshiba l750 ,laptop , with 1Gb graphic card . with Win7 . when i'm installing ubuntu inside the windows it worked but it looklike low graphic version and effects within the Operating system are disabled . Please help me with this problem
 

And the problem is? Please try to be a bit clearer in your description of the problem.
 

Which version of ubuntu? Ones I have the same problem. Then I tried ubuntu 11.04 and above. That worked fine ,,,

Also, did you checked if you can change the screen resolution settings?
