power pc mpc8280..interrupt

1.when you put the PCI card into PCI SLOT the mpc8280 should generate an interrupt to the remote processor.how its generate the interrupt?
2.suppose how you know that some processor generate interrupt?

There is two type of interrupt : 1- software 2- hardware
Those interrupt that happen in PCI is a software interrupt , any PCI card have a processor when you put it in PCI slot this processor turn on and send some specific data to the RAM and then toward CPU . CPU as sooon as receiving the data ....
but , I believe you like to know about hardware interrupt pins , right ?
