parametric analysis in cadence

Hi, I am using cadence 6.1.4 and i can't find the option of parametric analysis from ADE window... In ADE window, from tools menu, i just found only 4 options...calculator, result browser, job monitor and dcm... so please anybody show me the proper path to perform parametric analysis? Thnx in advance...

You need to open the ADE xL. There you can find the parametric analsysis. ok?

I have already tried to find it in ADE window but i couldn't... so please can you tell me the exact path? In which menu i can find the parametric analysis?

you have to launch ADE XL (not ADE L)

In your schematic, open the menu Launch, and choose: " lanch ADE XL". Take a look in the attached figure.

i have opened ADE xl window. i also got tool option in manu bar but i couldnt get parametric analysis option in it.
i m using CADENCE 6.1.4 in this version there is not option of parametric analysis in tool manu.
so how can i perform parametric analysis in it? plz show me whole path plz

in cadence help it is well shown; you have to go on view -> windows of parametrics, then setup a sweep of your design variable
