Hello

What is the best techniques for OP-Amp Offset compensation ?

Cheers

either External compensation or internal compesenation....IC 741 are internally compsenation...

Dear aandy,

2 papers are advised to study:

1. Circuit techniques for resucing the effects of op-amp imperfections: autozeroing, correlated double sampling, and chopper stabilization, IEEEE, invited paper

2. A MicroPower CMOS-Instromentation Amplifier, M.degrauwe, E.VITTOz,
IEEE journal of solid-state circuits, vol.sc-20,No. 3, June 1985

Hope some help to you.

Best regards,

reason for offset presence is mismatch between any two symmetricak components..so as a precautionary measure we can go for perfect mismatching....

auto-zeroing techniques will be used to minimize the opamp.or chopper stabilization.

theory of auto-zeroing can be studied by razavi and geiger.

Any url for the following papers..

Regards.
