Need urgent help for design Partial Ground Plane

Hi People

I am currently using MWO 2002 to do my final year project on UWB antenna design. I have difficulties designing partial ground plane. Can anyone advise and guide me on how to go about doing it? Million thanks!!!

Hello limqikang,



create an additional Air layer below dielectric layer & draw the
arbiterary partial ground plane & make sure it touches the enclosure or box walls...

upload your MWO file (*.emp) I will send you suggestions...

Thank you for your response. attached is my file and my target is to widen the impedance bandwidth. Can you guide me on how to design the partial ground plane so I can have a improved bandwidth. Your help is very much appreciated and thank you very much!!
