is possible to decode a mp3 file in a usb mass storage to digital uging fpga,


or how it is done in some advanced mp3 players were we can connect directly usb devices
 

Yes, its quite possible to decode mp3 using an FPGA. You will have to build a hardware decoder for this purpose.
