Hi all,
I am new to Ansys Electronics. I want to create a dynamic link between HFSS and Circuit, so I assign lumped ports at the points where I want to connect an active device in Circuit.
I do my analysis without the ports, however their addiction affects the results, since they come with a 50 Ohm impedance.

I am not sure what to do next. If I redesign the whole structure with these lumped ports, which only serve as pins/terminals for Circuit, I get a totally different result from what I want. Any ideas?

Welcome DespoinaSavatage,

The ports represent your active circuit, so yes, you want them in there. The HFSS simulation in this context doesn't mean much, the useful results will be the cosimulation results.
