what can we give in input reference library in synopsys ?Is this is optional or compulsory to take for synopsys tool(IC compiler)?

yes, u have to give input reference library. In this u have to give path for your library i.e of FRAM and CEL view and if u are using pads in your netlist file you have to give path for that also in input reference library
