how to reduce the freq variation as tuning cap

hi, all,
When I tuning the frequency of a filter by loading a capacitor, I find the frequency promptly varying as the loaded capacitance increases, e.g., 10Mhz as 1pf. How to slow down this variance, e.g. 1MHz as 1pf.
