Dear All,
I have the same issue but in OrCAD Layout ver 10.5. What is the fastest way to place/repeat a certain group of components in schematic & layout especially if we use the 'Load' feature in Layout 10.5 ??
Thanks in advance.

First Select Application Mode as Placement Edit now select the module which you want to copy, now click RMB and select "Place replicate create" and save it now select the section of components on which you want to copy saved placement and again click RMB and select "Place replicate apply"

does anyone knows how to make such thing in OrCAD Layout 10.5 tool ??
Thanks.

In orcad it is not possible.

In Allegro this step and repeat placement option is very handy and allows lot of flexibility,it really saves ur time.

Hi guys,

For repeated placement in similar sites in pads layout we have to write ECO codes with Components orientation & X,Y location.
