hierarchy + soc encounter

Hello,

I have two modules: Module A and Module B. A contains B.

After I import designs, module B is placed in separated place.

How can I place module B as a block in specific area?

Thanks,

soc encounter hierarch

You can put some constraint on module B, such as
1) Guide (soft),
2) Region, or
3) Fence (hard)
to achieve the desired physical hierarchy.

Hi,

what this guide, region and fence actually means?

can you or anyone knowing this elaborate more on this topic?

Thanks,
Prasad
