Unity Gain?

Hi all, is the below circuit gain equal to unity?

Can someone tell me how u derive the transfer function? I know it could be very basic but I just have difficulty getting the T.F.

Thanks.

Re: Unity Gain?

For transfer function, you can simply replace the capacitor with a short, so it's a simple voltage follower.

Unity Gain?

Thanks for the reply.

May I know why?

I thought we normally replace is with 1/sC?

Unity Gain?

Hi, I understand that it has low impedance at high freq. Why should we consider only at high freq? I though that T.F is the range of frequency which includes the low and high.

Re: Unity Gain?

Well, basically what you have to do is to replace the transistor with its small signal model. Writing KVL and KCL will lead to the transfer function. Vout/Vin.
