How to convert WG2004 to PADS?

Hi,

Does anybody know how to convert WG2004 file to PADS file?

Eport the Ascii file of the database from WG2004. Keep the decals i.e. the footprint symbols in PADS ready and that thier names should match the ones used in WG2004. Frist import the ascii file and then the netlist. This should work.

Are you sure that PADS can import the WG2004's asscii format (*.hkp)?
 

pads2004 have a program can translator design and
library between powerpcb and wg2004
 

I have tried to import to PADS 2004 a Mentor Expedition WG2004 file and
seems goob !!!!
