gateway vx720
hi all colleagues
i have this 17" monitor Gateway model VX720 Chassis series N8705 , the monitor comes up and u can hear the HV rustle and the green led light immediatly regardless if the data cable connected to PC VGA or not and there's no response from the front panel control switchs , just has this strange picture as attached here .
even connecting the data cable to the PC makes no difference , any idea what may cause this fault?
i have both M52742ASP and LM2405T @ the Video board , hope some one had seen this fault before and need service manual or schematic please .

just want to add that the screen is totally blank except this coloured pattern , may be this help getting any ideas.
