for front end physical design there are tools from cadence like:

* Physical Design Layout
(Cadence / Virtuoso)
* Physical Verification Design Rule Checking (Cadence / Dracula)

front end physical design extraction tools ....r used to estimate die size...to check timings.....i dont think ....virtuoso...and dracula do that...do they ?

front end physical deisgn exploration tools is basically used to estimate the die size...to check timings....in geneal...if the chip can be implemented in those constraints...or not...in that given size....

so i want to know which tools do these.....?
