hsim gui

When I run HSim 2.0 (Windows 2000) and got following error:

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Warning: failed to initialize tcl interpreter!!
Can't find a usable init.tcl in the following directories:
{} ./lib/tcl8.0 ./lib/tcl8.0 ./library ./library ./tcl8.0/library ./tcl8.0/library

This probably means that Tcl wasn't installed properly.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Who knows how to fix this error?

Thanks.

failed to initialize tcl interpreter hsim

I got the same message but hsim itself works fine. Does this bothers you? But I'm glad if someone can fix this issue. Anyway, hsim doesn't use gui, so what's this tcl for?

Re: Error on Hsim 2.0

The file exist somewhere but is not in the right directory.
Maybe you have to create the directory stated in the warning and it is OK.

I got the same error message when I installed the software but in Linux. I copy the files from cadence working directory
