I am a newbie to Design For Test. Can I have some material on that?
If I would like to take master by research, is there any interesting topic that I can look into?

Check these links:
Design for testing - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

You can refer to:
1. Digital systems testing and testable design by Miron Abramovici, Melvin A. Breuer
2. Essentials of electronic testing for digital, memory, and mixed-signal VLSI Design by Michael Lee Bushnell, Vishwani D. Agrawal

Thanks man. So if I want to start master by research, what kind of topic I can look into?

First learn DFT basics and get a basic idea about it. For topics you can see reference papers given at the end of the book.
