Hi i am doing project on tanner eda v13.0. while doing layout, for connecting metal 1 and resistor which contact i have to use? and also i wanted to know that how to check the resistor value in layout design ?
thankyou.

That would depend on the resistor material type most
likely, especially if your "contact" is really a stack of
something like N+, cont, Met1. That would be used
with an N+ or N- resistor, while there might be a similar
one with P+ and one for poly, etc.

Or the contact may already be part of the resistor cell,
just to eliminate errors.

This all comes down to foundry PDK setup, their way of
doing things. It's really not about the tool per se.
