I am New to Rocket IO technlogy .. I have an Doubt Can somebody please help me ..

I want to pin loc with a mine Ethernet maC to the phy .

1.) Can Rocket IO PCMA/PCS will be used as an MGT between ethernet PhY and MAC ?
2.) Can Ethernet Mac be directely connected to FPGA board
