Can I convert POF file to SOF

Hi,
I am using Altera software and I have the following problem. I have one FPGA board HM-ALC GER023 and I have a few pof files for different processors. I have a regression suite and I want to be able to load an image and do the tests and load another image. The problem is that I have to power-cycle the bord after I load the pof files. I want to test if this is the case with the sof files.

Can anyone help?

Hi,

To configure FPGA from bitstrim in quartus POF generated, in which strim is stored in EPCS and when power up FPGA configured through from strim loaded in EPCS.

I think SOF can not stored to EPCS, every time you power up you need to load SOF to confugure FPGA.

Let others give more light to this.
