by using 7 segment display or LCD display show output voltage

i have to display output voltage by using 7 segment or LCD display witch IC is best & can any one suggest the circuit diagram

i am new here i am doing my first project in electronics
please suggest me

no i never used micro controller
and i have no experience in making circuit i am learning now
just i made one photometer circuit

you can combine many type of ic..there is many way..u also can use 4 decoder..ok..this the link for you to know the basic of cmos 4000 series ic..dont be afraid with the name.. it easy to understand..

use proteus isis..when you install it, it also provide proteus ares which is use in designing PCB...
