i am jameer

i have to display output voltage by using 7 segment or LCD display witch IC is best & can any one suggest the circuit diagram

i am new here i am doing my first project in electronics
please suggest me

ok..firstly..can you tell a little bit about experience..did u ever use microcontroller?
 

no i never used micro controller
and i have no experience in making circuit i am learning now
just i made one photometer circuit

but i am using 4 , 7 segment display how i will interference that
 

you can combine many type of ic..there is many way..u also can use 4 decoder..ok..this the link for you to know the basic of cmos 4000 series ic..dont be afraid with the name.. it easy to understand..
