How are the books by Steven voldman?

Can a begginer in ESd and I/O get good benefit out of these books?

If u want to learn ESD, check out papers from
MingKerDou. He is an expert with most up-to-date information for ALL processes as he works closely with Taiwan's foundries. Also, his ideas are easily to be understood.
