I want to apply a Color TFT-LCD in my project but unfortunately i don't know anything about this module.

Is there anyone could help me and introduce me any reference or any design guide that can help me to select a proper approach for doing this part of project?

I don't get it. Do you already have a TFT LCD module that you want to use?
In this case, you should give us more detail (what is the internal controller
if any, etc...)
Or do you want advice on where to find a TFT LCD?

In this case, what kind of processor will you use?
This information is needed because you cannot drive (for instance) a PC
monitor with a microcontroller. Well, a bit more information would be useful.

Thanks for your attention to my question and replying.

I am trying to design a VGA Controller with FPGA.
This board is going to reconstruct display signals (RGB and Syncs) for connecting to standard vga PC monitors But after the researches and designes, I have found that it could be better to add the design a TFT LCD and required hardwares for optional cases.

Now i don't know anything about TFT LCDs. I have seen that some TFT LCDs have analog input, others have digital ones. All have Sync signals. Are The TFT LCDs displays image like VGA?
Which Controller i must apply to drive a TFT LCD?

Do you know anything that could guide me to choose and apply any brand of a 800*600 RGB LCD and proper controller?

Hello!

Id you do it with an FPGA, then you could use a TFT with digital entries,
for instance like .

Note that this one is not VGA. It's an LCD similar to the Sony PSP LCD (same
size, same resolution), but with a touch panel.

I have made a signal generator for it in order to test it. But with a 8MHz MCU,
it's clearly not enough and the refresh rate was 4 frames per second.

I can tell you that if you follow approximately the timing, then it will work at
once.

By the way, some TFT don't have an external SYNC signal because the timing
is processed by an internal ASIC. That's the case of most of mobile phone
LCDs. In this case, you don't need an FPGA, you can just stuff bytes with
a microcontroller, and then the refresh is processed internally.

It's not a TFT, it's a CSTN, but there are TFTs that work exactly the same way.

Hi Again dear Dora.
I searched and finally find a good alternative for FPGA solution for making Signal for VGA and TFT LCD.

I have just found EPSON web site and LCD/CRT Controllers and RAMDACs.
These are very good chips to develop a video interface for any projects.
Please send me your opinion about these products.
Could you please suggest any other company that have such these products?
