Dear Member,

I Require Exhaust Fan with following specification.
1. Speed control using external regulator or control
2. Operate on 230 VAC, 50 Hz
3. Size 9" or 12 "
4. application : Industrial Curing System
If u know any supplier or any solution please share

I wanted to control speed of a fan attached to our wood stove. I purchased a triac at Radio Shack. I constructed a circuit following the schematic. Very low cost. It worked.

I believe the fan was a 'squirrel cage' type. 120 VAC.
It drew little power so I did not need to put heat sinking on the triac.

I could suggest you this brand/models (Vario 9" or 12"):

They also make some external speed controllers:

I'm using some of their products (good quality stuff). You could surf their website for reference only - I'm sure there's other similar brands out there.
