I think you have to define the transfer function of the filter. The transfer function is the ratio of response divided by excitation. If you are going to use a current source input excitation, what is the response you desire? Is the response (output) the voltage at the output of the filter...
This looks like a 6th order bandpass filter (three, 2nd order Delyiannis-Friend circuits).
Are the two coupling capacitors (C109, C116) necessary? I cannot read their values -- it looks like 470 xF where x is unreadable.
It actually looks like 470uF, but I am not sure ... if this is an...
The issue is called "loading". Suppose you have a voltage divider to generate Vref. With nothing connected to the midpoint of the resistors, the voltage will be Vref=0.5*Vdd as you have shown. However, when you start connecting a load to the midpoint, the voltage at the midpoint will change...
I guess under the "right conditions" any feedback system can be designed to oscillate. Sometimes, poorly designed power supplies look more like oscillators than power supplies. I think the advantage of the odd number of inverters is that it is probably less stringent on the conditions for...
I think you must have odd number of inverters otherwise the oscillations will not be sustained. This is because the output of the last inverter is the input of the first inverter.
Looks like the input signal (green) is \[-\sin(t)\]; therefore, the input angular frequency is \[\omega=1\text{rad/s}\].
Have you tried the Laplace transform method. The Laplace transform of the input \[-\sin(t)\] is \[-1/(s^2+1)\].
The Laplace transform of the output is the product of the...
You should also say what kind of filter it is (lowpass, highpass, bandpass, bandstop).
At approximately what frequency is the output noise? Can you give the circuit structure and
maybe a picture of the measured noise?

It looks like the symbols for the PMOS devices (those labeled as Mpx) should have the arrow pointing in.
That would tend to indicate the correct flow of current from the top of the circuit toward the bottom.

Thanks very much bigdogguru ... that is exactly what I was looking for!
I am guessing that there is no single item that I could have clicked on to get there.

I am trying to get a list of my posts which are were marked as "useful".
This is the list that I can easily get to from the "Notifications" item at the top right when I have a message.
But when I want to go back to the full list I just cannot find it. I search through all of the items and can't...
I agree ... sometimes I rather go fishing than to do work -- but we all have responsibilities which must be properly balanced.
I am not saying that all people should love math or any other subject. However, if you have a bad introduction you will never get
a good chance to know if you would have...
