    L297 + L298 circuit not working

I have paired up L297 and L298 together to make a bipolar stepper driver. My schematics are : schematics I have hooked up the step and direction pin number 4 and 5 respectively on Arduino. I am using a 5V power supply from a DC adaptor The code I'm using is(sorry for bad indentation) ...

Which would be the best option for driving the 3/4 axis stepper motor for 3D printers

Seems legit , I have got one l297 , I have an L293d instead of l297 , I googled a circuit of that , https://static.rcgroups.net/forums/attachments/3/1/2/5/2/2/a3229043-39-_schematics.jpg However I don't understand what happens with the pins HOME and SYNC in that schematic. Would they work...

G-code compatiblity with H-bridge L293d (Bipolar Stepper Motor Driver )

I'm trying to make a 3 axis bipolar stepper driver and I think using L293Ds and Arduino is the best cheapest option. I have seen people using grbl to run their steppers easily but with grbl they have used expensive Easy drivers or Adafruit motor shield. I can't use them and I want my motors to...

Cheapest Bipolar stepper motor driver .

I want to make stepper driver for running four motors i.e. a 4 axis stepper driver for 3D printer. I want to do everything with scratch and wants a simple , easy , DIY cheap method. There are many stepper drivers available online but most of them are expensive as hell. So can you just let me...

Which would be the best option for driving the 3/4 axis stepper motor for 3D printers

I have researched a bit over google and reprep websites and come across different circuits/methods to drive the stepper motors. Being a student only , I have budget issues and I want it to be less sophisticated , more robust and cheap of-course. Amongst these , which would be better , it's...

Is it possible to serially control stepper Motors with PIC/AVR micro-controllers with

yes thats what i'm trying to make from scratch. I want to make a 3 axis stepper motor controller for a bipolar motor . What I have decided is to make stepper driver for motor separately controlling from a single PIC. It would be great if you could help me with code or give some good direction...

Is it possible to serially control stepper Motors with PIC/AVR micro-controllers with

With simple input, the direction, the speed and the number of steps etc can be setup by user and stepper motor will run that way. As off now , I program PIC with MPLAB +CCS C Compiler . Thank you.
