I tried using the import wizard and got the same result. I think this needs to be converted in Allergo into another format that Altium can read and that can be imported into Altium.
For anyone who wants to know, the solution is that the mini PCI-e slot can read USB2.0 but is unable to read USB1.1, and my device can only send data in USB1.1 format. So now I have to figure out how, in my code, to make it transmit in USB2.0, because I know my chip should be able to.
OK, so i figured out that a USB flashdrive works just fine using the +5V, D+, D-, and gnd
Do you think my other USB stuff (like my desktop's keyboard) doesn't work on it because of driver issues?

So I used altium's footprint wizard to make the footprint given here: **broken link removed**
This is my first time making a footprint and I was wondering if the number of vias matters?
the part is: https://media.digikey.com/pdf/Data%20Sheets/SMSC/LAN8720.pdf

*UPDATE*

it should be noted tho that it doesnt work if the tag is held against the titanium, only when it is held about 1/4th of an inch away. the reader can be held right up against the...
