Exciting multiple ports all together in CST Microwave Studio

Re: Exciting multiple ports all together in CST Microwave St Thanks for the help James, So i basically want to vary the power amplitude in the different ports to observe the change in radiation pattern. On reading your post, i was able to change the amplitudes in the ports but its simulating...

How to fed this antenna in HFSS?

Re: Port type in HFSS Easy, like the guy above said use an SMA feed. With HFSS its easy but will take an hour or two. If you use EMCoS, its gonna take not more than 10 minutes.

    Waveguide Step Impedance

What i understand from your question is you want to introduce impedance matching transformer in a rectangular waveguide, is that so?

Circular to Rectangular Transition in HFSS .(Help required)

Re: Circular to Rectangular Transition in HFSS .(Help requir What comes to my mind is, if you want to fix the rectangular structure at the circular aperture, make a box and substract the two (dont forget to clone). Further, give PerfE to the circular aperture and PerfH to the face of the...

Exciting multiple ports all together in CST Microwave Studio

Hi guys, So im designing a horn antenna for beam scanning. I have 5 rectangular waveguide ports in the horn antenna. I was able to complete everything on HFSS, but now in CST i'am not able to figure out how to excite all the 5 ports at once in varying amplitudes. The design i simulated in CST...

FEED for parabola - the best book about parabolic antenna

Re: FEED for parabola I'am working on a Horn feed for a parabolic reflector. It's going to be a conical horn which is in turn fed by a circular waveguide.
