Vector Network Analyzer
May anybody tell me the name of the reputed Manufacturers of Vector Network Analyzer for RF/Microwave R&D work. I know Agilent, R&S and Anritsu. Any other company except these three?
I have to test phase array antenna in CATR. In CATR the Antenna Under Test is placed at receiver end. Please tell me how can we test radiation Pattern of phase array antenna on receiving end as we know that at transmitting end the phase shifter can be placed before Transmitting antenna and...
Hi,
I want to design Microstrip Patch Antenna with beamwidth of 60 degrees and gain more than 6 dB. Is it possible to design?
Can anybody help me to send any design paper?
Please if any one help me in the regard that I want to know that what are the differences in engineering Model (EM) and Engineering Qualification Model (EQM). Can any one tell me that how I can say that the Transmitter or receiver is EQM. What parameters and What test the transmitter/receiver...
PLease could any one help.
1)The quiet zone in the anechoic chamber is where we called the relectivity is very low. But want to ask that How can we create quiet zone? What I understand is that in anechoic chamber the absorber is placed on walls and floors and the reflectivity is same in the...
We are looking to procure the "wire bonding machine" and "fine palcer machine" for the RF/microwave lab. Please could anyone guide me to a good company for these products and let me technically know that for microwave circuits application what type should be used.
Regards
I work in RF lab and use the spectrum Analyzer, signal generator, Network analyzer etc for our testing purpose. But the equipments are not grounded therefore the charges are emmitted from their ports.
Please mention me steps to properly ground the equipments.
Biasing problem
Hi,
The problem while biasing RFHIC RT 240 power amplifier is that we apply VGS >Vt i.e 1.8-2V.Then start applying VDS but as the VDS increase the certain value the VGS starts increasing though the theoratically VGS should remain same.
Please if u have any idea of this...
I have to bias the FET at Vds=28 V.but the maximum supply limit is also 28 V.Therefore, I have to design biasing topology in such a way that no voltage drop before drain. Is it possible that I connect the supply directly to the drain to prevent voltage drop or it is not feasible.?
I have a voltage source of 28 V.Is it possible in biasing FET we place no resitor at drain and make Vds same as Vdd because I need Vds=28V. Or it will not work and not a general practice. Please tell me.
Hi,
if anybody knows a good book for RF and microwave PCBs.In which practical considerations are mentioned and some basic about the layout designing.
Thanks
