Hi, I came across the words SNAP ON / SNAP OFF in LP2952 datasheet which is LDO Voltage regulator. Can anyone explain me what is SNAP ON / SNAP OFF??:-?

I am not sure about that, but look at this graph (from the data sheet). It says about the Output ON at certain threshold voltages of Input. Probably making the Output ON at a set threshold voltage levels are called as Snap ON and OFF. Please analyze. Post here once you get some good picture on that.

That action is described in the datasheet on page 18 (search term = "snap")

**broken link removed**

OUTPUT has SNAP-ON/SNAP-OFF feature. Regulator snaps ON at about
5.7V input, and OFF at about 5.6V.
