Hi every body,
I am working on my thesis, it is a data acquisition based on FPGA. at this juncture,I want to acquire serial data through UART which has been implemented in an FPGA and store it in an external SRAM attached to the mentioned FPGA,also the code of the SRAM controlling exist,But I don't know how to Handle this 2 components' (UART and SRAM) in a main system all together.does any body have information about it? similar
topics can help me. appreciated.

you need to design a state machine which will take the data from the UART module and then put it into the SRAM.
