battery is lead acid type:

Battery is charging now correctly. Now, the voltage of the battery increases to 6.83v.

Output Voltage set to charge the battery = around 7.5v
Voltage Between PIN2 and GND = +7.74v
Voltage Between PIN5 and GND = +7.84v

Voltage Between PIN5 and PIN2 = + 0.08v

*Battery Connected to the Circuit

Pl let me know your suggestion on these readings I got.

thanks.

If battery is not connected to the Circuit,

the Voltage Between PIN5 and PIN2 = + 0v
