Hi all,
I am trying to learn how to do board layout, mainly the PA module layout. Any advise where can I start? Any class notes or project will be helpful
Thanks

Hi,

If you contact to PA vendors with support of full-version datasheet, then you'll
see their PA module layout.
Basically, PA layout is critical in RF trace, Vbattery and other Vccrouting, and via
holes for thermal and grounding consideration.
Control signals like TDMA bias signals acting as periodicity of on/off switching would be sensitive to any noise ride on and then be modulated toward PA bias causing unwanted spurs.
For high current driving type of PA, Vbattery should take care not only noise isolation but also trace impedance for the sake of voltage supply low drop.

Regards,
