Zroute

Zroute

It is Synopsys' router.

**broken link removed**

zroute is the routing tool for IC Compiler.
It is an advanced routing that can do routing while fixing antena violations and cross talk vioations, so the iteration time is minimum
Earlier routers, first route then fix antenna and routing violations.
Also Synopsys claims it is faster then its earlier Astro router.

zroute is a routing engine which is introduced in Synopsys ICCompiler. It has got art of routing technology which connects routes based on real connectivity unlike other routers from synopsys which used to follow centre to centre connectivity model while routing. Also, unlike other earlier routing engines this zrouter is developed from the scratch. It is fast and provides better QOR when compared to other synopsys routers.
